SAP FICO Functional Ownership :

- Manage and support SAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules within the S/4HANA landscape.

Configure and maintain core finance processes including :

- General Ledger (GL)

- Accounts Payable (AP)

- Accounts Receivable (AR)

- Asset Accounting

- Bank Accounting

- Cost Center Accounting

- Profit Center Accounting

- Internal Orders

2. Business Process Alignment :

- Work closely with finance teams to understand business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.

- Ensure SAP processes align with retail finance operations including store accounting, sales reconciliation, and inventory valuation.

- Provide functional expertise for month-end and year-end closing processes.

3. SAP S/4HANA Enhancements & Optimization :

- Drive enhancements and optimization initiatives within the S/4HANA finance modules.

- Support adoption of S/4HANA finance capabilities such as Universal Journal and real-time reporting.

- Identify opportunities to streamline finance processes through system automation.

4. Integration with Other Systems :

Work closely with other functional teams to manage integrations between SAP Finance and :

- POS systems (store sales postings)

- Procurement and P2P systems

- Warehouse and inventory systems

- Ecommerce platforms

- Payment gateways and banking interfaces

5. Project Implementation & Change Management :

- Participate in SAP implementation and enhancement projects.

- Prepare functional specifications for developments (RICEF objects).

- Support testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, and UAT.

- Assist in change management and system rollout activities.

6. Incident & Support Management :

- Provide L2/L3 support for SAP FICO-related issues.

- Troubleshoot financial posting errors, reconciliation issues, and integration failures.

- Work with technical teams to resolve system issues efficiently.

7. Compliance & Governance :

- Ensure finance processes comply with statutory, audit, and regulatory requirements.

- Support internal and external audits.

- Maintain documentation for SAP finance processes and configurations.
