Experience in non-DAG causal approaches such as :

a. Propensity Score Matching

b. Instrumental Variables

c. Difference-in-Differences

d. Regression Discontinuity

e. Uplift Modeling

- Build explainable and interpretable causal frameworks for business decisioning

- Validate causal assumptions and model robustness

3. Classical Machine Learning :

- Supervised & Unsupervised ML algorithms

- Feature engineering at scale

- Model validation and hyperparameter tuning

- Time-series/forecasting models (good to have)

Strong command over :

a. Python

b. SQL

c. Statistical modeling

4. End-to-End ML Deployment :

- Own the complete ML lifecycle :

a. Problem formulation

b. Data extraction & transformation

c. Model development

d. Validation

e. Deployment

f. Monitoring

Experience with :

a. Production-grade ML pipelines

b. Model scoring on live/streaming data

c. Batch & real-time inference systems

d. CI/CD for ML

- Monitoring model drift and performance degradation

5. Stakeholder & Client Management :

- Collaborate directly with client stakeholders

- Present model assumptions, limitations, and insights clearly

- Must be confident in handling and clearing client interviews

- Provide technical guidance to junior team members

6. Future-Focused : GenAI (Good to Have) :

Exposure to :

a. LLM applications

b. Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)

c. Prompt engineering

d. AI-driven insight generation

- GenAI will be part of the roadmap; familiarity is advantageous

Required Qualifications :

- 10 to 12 years of experience in Data Science / ML

- Proven experience delivering causal modeling projects in production

- Strong statistical foundations and experimental design expertise

- Experience working with large-scale data systems

- Prior client-facing experience preferred

- Willingness to work from office (minimum 2 days/week, Location: Manyata Tech Park, Hebbal)
