Role Overview :
The Treasury Test Lead role is responsible for leading and executing comprehensive testing strategies for our Treasury applications. This role involves collaborating closely with development teams, business analysts, and product owners to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our solutions. The Test Lead will be instrumental in defining test plans, managing test execution, and identifying and resolving defects, ultimately contributing to the successful delivery of high-quality Treasury applications to our clients. This position is based in Bangalore or Chennai.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and test plans for Treasury applications, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical specifications.
- Lead and mentor a team of test engineers, providing guidance on testing methodologies, best practices, and tools.
- Manage the execution of manual test cases, ensuring thorough coverage of all application functionalities.
- Identify, document, and track defects using a defect management system, collaborating with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Participate in requirements reviews and design discussions to provide input on testability and identify potential risks.
- Report on testing progress, metrics, and risks to stakeholders, providing clear and concise communication on the status of testing activities.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of testing activities into the software development lifecycle.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated ability to design and execute comprehensive test plans for Treasury applications, ensuring thorough coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
- Proven expertise in manual testing methodologies and techniques, including black box testing, white box testing, and regression testing.
- Strong understanding of Treasury concepts and processes, including cash management, liquidity management, and financial instrument valuation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex defects.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Adaptability to work in a dynamic environment.
