Role Overview :

As an Aveva E3D Administrator, you will serve as the technical backbone for our engineering design environments, ensuring seamless performance and stability for complex 3D modeling projects. You will collaborate closely with project engineering teams, IT infrastructure leads, and global stakeholders to architect, maintain, and optimize the Aveva ecosystem. Your work directly impacts the productivity of design teams by minimizing system downtime, streamlining configuration workflows, and implementing custom automation that accelerates project delivery timelines.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage and maintain the Aveva E3D environment, including project setup, database administration, and multi-site replication to ensure high availability for global design teams.

- Lead configuration management initiatives by defining and enforcing project standards, catalogs, and specifications to maintain data integrity across all engineering disciplines.

- Develop and deploy custom .NET applications and macros to automate repetitive design tasks, enhancing the overall efficiency of the engineering workflow.

- Troubleshoot complex system performance issues and software conflicts, providing rapid resolution to prevent project delays and ensure seamless user experience.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate Aveva E3D with other enterprise systems, ensuring smooth data exchange and interoperability throughout the project lifecycle.

- Mentor junior team members on best practices for system administration and provide technical guidance on complex configuration challenges.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in administering and configuring Aveva E3D, with a deep understanding of database management and project structure.

- Proven ability to develop and maintain custom tools using .NET and C# to extend the functionality of Aveva software suites.

- Strong analytical skills in troubleshooting system-level issues, including performance bottlenecks, connectivity problems, and software bugs.

- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical requirements into actionable solutions for non-technical stakeholders.

- A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the capacity to manage multiple project priorities in a fast-paced, high-stakes engineering environment.

- Candidates must possess 7 - 12 years of relevant experience in Aveva administration within the engineering or construction industry.

- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field is preferred.

- Ability to work effectively in an on-site environment at our Noida office, collaborating with diverse teams to meet project milestones.
