The Transition Lead will own and drive the end-to-end transition of technology capabilities into the India GCC. This role will be responsible for transition strategy, governance, stakeholder alignment, hiring readiness, KT execution, risk management and stabilization across a broad technology portfolio including application development, QA, data engineering, SRE/production support, RPA/Intelligent Automation, Pega/BPM, cloud/DevOps and AI/GenAI COE roles.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead overall transition planning and execution for multiple technology workstreams moving into the GCC.

- Define transition approach, governance cadence, KT methodology, readiness criteria, milestone plans and stabilization model.

- Partner with business, technology, HR, recruitment, vendor and GCC leadership teams to align demand, hiring priorities and transition timelines.

- Convert role demand into sourcing-ready skill requirements, including must-have skills, desired skills, experience levels and profile calibration guidance.

- Oversee KT execution across classroom training, process walkthroughs, shadowing, reverse shadowing, certification, go-live and hyper care phases.

- Own transition risk management, dependency tracking, issue escalation and leadership reporting.

- Ensure delivery readiness across people, process, technology, access, documentation, tools and operating model dimensions.

- Guide transition managers and ensure consistency in transition artifacts, reporting and governance.

- Drive stakeholder communication across US and India teams, including leadership updates, governance meetings and decision forums.

- Liaise with stakeholders across technology areas including engineering, QA, Data & Analytics, automation, DevOps, SRE and AI/GenAI teams

- Ensure smooth handover into BAU with defined ownership, runbooks, support model, SLAs/SLOs and performance tracking where applicable

Qualifications and experience :

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Management or related field; MBA or equivalent program management certification preferred.

- 9-12+ years of experience in technology delivery, transition management, GCC setup, captive buildout, consulting or large-scale transformation programs.

- Proven experience leading technology transitions across multiple towers such as software engineering, QA, data, cloud, DevOps, RPA, production support and AI/GenAI.

- Prior experience managing India GCC setup / expansion, vendor-to-captive transitions, insourcing programs or global delivery model transitions.

- Strong experience working with senior stakeholders across business, technology, HR, recruitment and vendor organizations

- Experience supporting transitions/ setups involving AI/GenAI COE, OIA workflows, RPA/automation COE, Data and Analytics, data platforms or cloud- native engineering teams

- Familiarity with Scrum/ AGILE ways of working

Good to have experience/ skillsets :

- Healthcare and insurance domain experience

- Prior consulting / GCC advisory / transformation program experience

- PMP, PgMP, Scrum Master, SAFe, ITIL or cloud certifications are a plus
