Role Overview :

As a Senior LabVIEW Developer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining LabVIEW-based applications and test systems.

You will be responsible for software architecture, programming, and implementation of automated test and measurement systems.

Your expertise in LabVIEW, hardware integration, and real-time data acquisition will be essential for delivering high-quality solutions that meet client requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain LabVIEW-based test automation solutions for hardware validation, verification, and production testing.

- Design and implement modular, scalable, and efficient LabVIEW architectures using best practices such as object-oriented programming (OOP) and Actor Framework.

- Integrate LabVIEW applications with various hardware interfaces, including NI DAQ, PXI, FPGA, CAN, Modbus, and other communication protocols.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and develop tailored LabVIEW solutions.

- Implement data acquisition, signal processing, and real-time control algorithms for test and measurement applications.

- Develop and optimize test sequences and workflows to improve test efficiency and reliability.

- Conduct software validation, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization to ensure robust and efficient systems.

- Maintain proper documentation, including software design, test plans, and technical reports.

- Work with hardware engineers to define and optimize system architecture for testing solutions.

- Mentor and guide junior LabVIEW developers, ensuring best practices in software development and test automation.

Required Qualifications & Skills :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation, Computer Science, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in LabVIEW software development, with expertise in developing automated test and measurement systems.

- Certified LabVIEW Developer (CLD) or Certified LabVIEW Architect (CLA) preferred.

- Strong understanding of NI hardware (DAQ, PXI, cRIO, FPGA) and instrument control.

- Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and design patterns within LabVIEW.

- Experience with NI TestStand for automated test execution is a plus.

- Hands-on experience with communication protocols such as CAN, Modbus, RS232, RS485, and Ethernet.

- Familiarity with real-time data acquisition, control systems, and embedded software development.

- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and optimization skills.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to document technical details effectively.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience in the automotive, aerospace, or industrial automation industries.

- Knowledge of Python, C/C++, or MATLAB for additional scripting and automation.

- Familiarity with version control systems (Git, SVN) for software management.
