We are seeking a Senior Instructional Designer to lead the design, development, and enhancement of learning programs that align with strategic business objectives. This individual will collaborate with subject matter experts, L&D partners, and global stakeholders to create impactful learning experiences using a variety of modalities, including e-learning, blended, and instructor-led formats. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in instructional design for Western audiences, a strong technical skill set in multimedia tools, and a deep understanding of adult learning principles.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and develop engaging, effective, and visually compelling learning content for global audiences
- Translate complex concepts into clear, concise, and instructionally sound materials
- Collaborate with SMEs, project stakeholders, and L&D partners to gather content and define learning objectives
- Create storyboards, course outlines, scripts, and learner assessments
- Ensure content is aligned with adult learning principles, accessibility standards, and branding guidelines
- Work hands-on with eLearning development tools including Articulate Storyline, Rise, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Produce high-quality multimedia assets (graphics, audio, video) for inclusion in learning modules
- Edit and engineer audio and video assets to professional standards
- Manage LMS support requests and maintain accurate learning records
- Evaluate course effectiveness through assessments, learner feedback, and performance metrics
- Stay current with industry trends including microlearning, blended learning, AI integration, and future-focused L&D practices
Required Skills & Competencies :
- Strong expertise in adult learning theory and instructional design methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to work with Western stakeholders and teams across time zones
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to convey complex ideas simply
- Advanced storytelling and storyboarding abilities
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills for instructional content
- Proven experience in LMS operations, including course deployment, tracking, and reporting
- Ability to build assessments that measure learning outcomes effectively
- Sound knowledge of SCORM and other eLearning standards
- Visual and design sensibility with understanding of layout, color theory, typography, and UX
Qualifications & Experience :
- 8+ years of experience in instructional design, training development, and learning technologies
- Extensive experience designing for corporate L&D audiences, especially Western organizations
- Strong portfolio demonstrating course design, media integration, and learning outcomes
Preferred :
- 5+ years of experience working with LMS platforms
- 5+ years in operations or related business support functions
- Exposure to AI in L&D, microlearning strategies, and emerging training technologies
