Thryve Digital - IT Support Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Support Engineer with a strong background in IT Asset Management to join our IT Operations team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of IT assets, ensuring compliance with internal policies and industry standards, and supporting asset deployment and maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities :

- Maintain accurate records of all IT assets (hardware/software), track asset movement, and update inventory databases.

- Oversee the full asset lifecycle - from procurement to retirement or disposal - ensuring timely upgrades and decommissions.

- Assist with IT asset procurement processes, ensuring cost-effective purchasing and policy

compliance.

- Coordinate deployment, installation, and ongoing maintenance of IT hardware and software

assets.

- Investigate and resolve issues related to IT asset discrepancies, licensing, or performance.

- Ensure adherence to licensing agreements and IT asset management regulations (e.g., software audits).

- Generate and maintain periodic reports on asset utilization, costs, lifecycle status, and compliance metrics.

- Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely delivery, support, and warranty claims.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.

- Minimum of 4 years in IT asset management, IT operations, or similar role.

- Good understanding of IT hardware and software.

- Hands-on experience with IT asset/inventory management tools.

- Ability to analyze large datasets to identify trends, errors, or inconsistencies.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with vendors, internal teams, and users.

- Aptitude for troubleshooting and resolving hardware/software asset-related issues.

- Knowledge of ITAM best practices and software license compliance
