Key Responsibilities :

- Design and configure core PP processes :

1. Demand Management & PIRs

2. Sales & Operations Planning(S&OP)

3. MRP / MRP Live configuration

4. Capacity Planning & Scheduling

5. Production Orders & Process Orders

- Drive MRP optimization :

1. Planning strategies(Make-to-Stock, Make-to-Order, Planning with Final Assembly)

2. Lot sizing, safety stock, lead times

3. Exception handling and performance tuning in MRP Live

- Configure and manage Master Data :

- Material Master (MRP views )

1. BOMs, Routings, Production Versions

2. Work Centers & Capacity models

- Work closely with cross-functional teams :

1. MM (Procurement & inventory)

2. SD (Demand, ATP, delivery integration)

3. QM (In-process & GR inspection)

4. FI/CO (Order costing, WIP, variances)

- Support PP-DS integration(embedded PP-DS preferred)

- Lead business workshops, solution design sessions, and fit-gap analysis

- Support UAT, cutover planning, data migration, and post-go-live stabilization

- Mentor junior consultants and review functional specifications

Required Skills & Expertise :

- Strong hands-on configuration experience in :

1. SAP PP on S/4HANA

2. MRP Live, Capacity Planning, Production Orders

- Experience in discrete and/or process manufacturing

- Solid understanding of production costing and variance analysis

- SAP PP / S/4HANA certification

S/4HANA & Advanced Planning :

1. Embedded PP-DS on S/4HANA(preferred)

2. Advanced ATP (aATP) good to have

- Knowledge of Fiori apps for manufacturing and planning

- Exposure to Clean Core principles and S/4HANA best practices

Good to Have :

- Exposure to SAP IBP integration (Demand / Response)

- Experience in CPG, Pharma, Manufacturing, or Chemicals

- Agile or Activate methodology experience

Soft Skills :

- Ability to translate manufacturing requirements into scalable SAP solutions

- Experience working independently in client-facing roles

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
