Thoucentric - SAP QM/QA Consultant

Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced SAP QM/QA Consultant to join the Supply Chain Management Core Team and support the delivery of high-quality SAP S/4HANA Cloud solutions. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in software quality assurance, SAP testing methodologies, automation frameworks, regression testing, and CI/CD processes.

The role requires close collaboration with functional consultants, developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to ensure application quality, system reliability, and smooth deployment across SAP landscapes. Candidates with strong analytical skills, automation exposure, and experience working in Agile environments will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities :

- Perform end-to-end testing activities for SAP S/4HANA Cloud applications and supply chain modules.

- Design, develop, and execute functional, integration, regression, and system test cases.

- Validate business processes, workflows, and SAP configurations to ensure solution quality.

- Support test automation initiatives using modern testing frameworks and tools.

- Work closely with functional consultants, developers, and business users during requirement analysis and testing cycles.

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for SAP and cloud-native applications.

- Participate in CI/CD pipeline integration and automated deployment validation activities.

- Identify, track, document, and resolve defects through defect management tools and processes.

- Perform API testing and integration validation using tools such as Postman.

- Ensure test coverage, test documentation, and quality standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve testing processes and quality assurance practices.

- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), release validation, and production deployment activities.

- Conduct root cause analysis for defects and recommend preventive actions.

- Assist in performance, usability, and security testing activities where applicable.

- Continuously explore opportunities to improve automation coverage and testing efficiency.

- Contribute to internal capability building and organizational quality initiatives.

Required Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience in software testing and quality assurance methodologies.

- Experience in SAP testing, particularly within SAP S/4HANA environments.

- Knowledge of functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and UAT support.

- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as START, Process Test Framework, Qmate, and Postman.

- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps-based testing practices.

- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum delivery methodologies.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination abilities.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple testing activities simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

- Experience in Supply Chain Management domain projects preferred.

- Exposure to automation testing for SAP Fiori and cloud-native applications.

- Knowledge of SAP QM processes and enterprise testing standards is an added advantage.

- SAP certification or QA/testing certifications preferred.
