Description :

SAP FICO Treasury Solution Architect to lead SAP Treasury and Banking transformation initiatives for a global banking client, with a strong focus on Citi Bank integrations, reusable accelerator development, and enterprise-grade SAP S/4HANA Treasury solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Solution Architecture and Treasury Transformation :

- Define scalable architecture for treasury operations, bank integrations, payment processing, and liquidity management.

- Lead solution architecture and scope definition for treasury transformation programs.

- Provide architectural guidance for SAP S/4HANA implementations, migrations, and treasury modernization initiatives.

- Ensure alignment between business requirements, SAP best practices, and enterprise architecture standards.

2. SAP Treasury and Banking Functional Expertise :

Cash and Treasury Management :

- SAP S/4HANA Cash Management

- Bank Account Management (BAM)

- Cash Operations

- Liquidity Management

- One Exposure from Operations

- Support treasury reporting, liquidity forecasting, and cash visibility processes.

Payment and Bank Integration :

- Automatic Payment Program (F110)

- Payment Medium Workbench (PMW)

- DMEE structures

- Multi-Bank Connectivity (MBC)

- Bank Communication Management (BCM)

- Enable secure and scalable payment processing integrations with banking partners.

Treasury & Risk Management :

- Contribute to Treasury & Risk Management solution design.

- Exposure to In-House Cash is preferred.

Electronic Bank Statements :

- MT940

- Support automated posting, reconciliation, and exception handling processes.

3. Citi Bank Connectivity and Integration :

- Work closely with Citi solution architects and technical teams.

- Design and support :

- Real-time balance APIs

- Payment status reporting

- File transmission and acknowledgements

- Authentication mechanisms including OAuth 2.0 and certificate-based authentication

- Format and field mapping requirements

- Own Citi API and file integration design deliverables.

- Troubleshoot integration, interface, and data processing issues.

4. Techno-Functional Design Leadership :

- Define requirements for :

- APIs

- OData services

- CDS Views

- Create detailed functional specifications for ABAP and SAP Fiori development teams.

- Review technical designs, developments, and integration deliverables.

- Act as the bridge between Treasury business users, Citi teams, and SAP technical teams.

- Provide development guidance and conduct design reviews.

5. SAP Fiori and Technical Architecture Oversight :

- Demonstrate strong understanding of :

- SAP Fiori Launchpad architecture

- SAPUI5 application concepts

- OData services

- CDS Views

- SAP Gateway

- SAP authorization concepts

- Collaborate effectively with ABAP, integration, and Fiori development teams.

6. Product Packaging and Reusability :

- Standardize configuration templates and reusable deployment models.

- Externalize bank-specific settings for scalable implementations.

- Prepare installation, deployment, and support documentation.

- Document reusable architecture patterns and integration frameworks.

- Identify client-specific components versus reusable core solution components.

- Support reusable accelerator definition and packaging initiatives.

7. Project Leadership and Stakeholder Management :

- Manage scope definition, effort estimation, and delivery planning.

- Coordinate with Citi stakeholders, internal consulting teams, and development teams.

- Support UAT planning, defect management, and production readiness activities.

- Prepare executive-level project status reports and architecture updates.

- Drive stakeholder communication and user adoption initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Technical Expertise :

- Deep knowledge of SAP Cash Management and Treasury processes.

- Experience with bank integrations, APIs, and payment processing frameworks.

- Strong understanding of :

- APIs

- SAP Gateway

- SAP Fiori architecture

- Familiarity with ABAP debugging and SAP technical architecture concepts.

- Experience with integration troubleshooting and data reconciliation.

- 6+ years of Treasury & Banking experience.

- Experience in at least 3 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA Treasury implementations.

- Hands-on experience in at least one real-world bank API integration project.

- Proven experience in large-scale enterprise transformation programs.

Consulting and Leadership Skills :

- Ability to engage with business users, banking partners, and technical teams.

- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.

- Experience leading cross-functional and distributed teams.

- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in complex enterprise environments.

Education and Certifications :

- Masters degree preferred.

- SAP Treasury, SAP FICO, or SAP S/4HANA certifications are highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Exposure to productized SAP accelerators and reusable frameworks.

- Familiarity with cloud integration and SAP BTP services.

- Experience with SAP enhancement frameworks and WRICEF objects.

- Strong understanding of enterprise banking integration standards and treasury operations.
