Role : SAP BW/BPC Consultant

Position Title : SAP BW/BPC Consultant

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced SAP BW/BPC Consultant with strong expertise in SAP BW, SAP S/4HANA integration, and SAP BPC Standard. The role involves designing and developing BW data models, building custom and standard extractors, managing data integration between S/4HANA and BW, and supporting planning and reporting solutions in SAP BPC.

Key Responsibilities :

1. SAP BW Development & Data Integration :

- Design, develop, and maintain SAP BW solutions to support business reporting and analytics requirements.

- Create and enhance standard and custom BW extractors for data extraction from SAP S/4HANA.

- Develop and manage data loading processes from S/4HANA to BW.

- Build and support BW transformation routines, DTPs, InfoPackages, and process chains.

- Perform data modeling using InfoObjects, ADSOs, Composite Providers, and Queries.

- Troubleshoot and optimize BW data loads and performance issues.

2. SAP BPC Standard Development & Support :

- Understand business planning and consolidation requirements and translate them into SAP BPC solutions.

- Develop and maintain BPC objects including Reports, Input Templates, Script Logic, and Data Manager (DM) Packages.

- Manage BPC data mapping and conversion processes for data loads into BPC.

- Support BPC Standard security setup, including data access profiles and user authorizations.

- Provide expertise in EPM reporting and Data Manager package development.

3. Project Delivery & Stakeholder Management :

- Participate in requirement gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.

- Manage project activities across design, development, testing, training, go-live, and benefits realization phases.

- Collaborate with ERP, Security, Portal, and other IT teams on data design, system interfaces, data extraction strategies, and reporting solutions.

- Provide technical guidance and best practices for BW and BPC implementations.

Required Skills & Experience :

1. Technical Skills :

- Strong expertise in SAP BW/BI.

- Experience in SAP S/4HANA to BW integration.

- Hands-on experience building standard and custom BW extractors.

- Strong understanding of BW transformations, routines, DTPs, and process chains.

- Experience with SAP BPC Standard.

- Knowledge of EPM Reports, Data Manager Packages, Script Logic, Input Schedules/Templates, and BPC Security.

- Experience with data mapping, validation, and reconciliation between BW and BPC.

2. Functional & Project Skills :

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Experience managing end-to-end project delivery lifecycle.

- Ability to work with cross-functional business and technical teams.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

- SAP BW and/or SAP BPC certification is preferred.

- Experience in finance planning, budgeting, forecasting, or consolidation processes is an advantage.

Experience Required :

- 8 - 12+ years of relevant experience in SAP BW and SAP BPC Standard implementations and support.
