The COE Lead is a senior technical leader responsible for driving TSPs next generation IP, tools, and product development initiatives. This role leads the design, development, certification, and scaling of new tools and reusable IPs, leveraging modern SAP and non SAP technologies such as SAP BTP, SAP Build (Process Automation), AI/ML, and Large Language Models (LLMs).

The role requires an Architect/ hands on and Leading technical/Product development team, proven product engineering experience, and the ability to guide and mentor teams building enterprise grade tools.

Key Responsibilities :

Technology & Product Leadership :

- Drive innovation using SAP BTP, SAP Build Process Automation, AI/ML, and LLMbased solutions

- Evaluate and adopt newage technologies for enterprise and SAP ecosystem use cases

- Own the technical roadmap and evolution of multiple products/IPs in parallel

IP & Tool Development :

- Lead development of minimum 2+ enterprise tools or IPs (handson experience mandatory)

- Convert ideas and problem statements into scalable, productionready products

- Establish engineering standards, architecture patterns, and development best practices

- Ensure products are secure, scalable, extensible, and enterpriseready

Certification & Enablement :

- Drive SAP and partner certifications for TSP tools and accelerators

- Ensure IPs meet SAP BTP, Build, and AI integration standards where applicable

- Create technical documentation, enablement material, and demo readiness

Team & CrossFunctional Coordination :

- Guide and mentor development teams on building new tools and IPs

- Coordinate with functional experts, architects, UX, presales, and leadership teams

- Provide handson technical guidance, design reviews, and problem solving

- Act as the technology anchor while collaborating across distributed teams

Product Portfolio Ownership :

- Manage multiple product/IP initiatives simultaneously

- Track product maturity, adoption, enhancements, and technical debt

- Support internal demos, product showcases, and innovation initiatives

Required Experience & Skills :

- 15+ years of strong technical and product engineering experience

- Proven experience building 2+ tools or IPs from concept to delivery

- Architectural and some handson in :

1. SAP BTP

2. SAP Build / Process Automation

3. AI/ML and LLM applicability (enterprise use cases)

- Experience leading and mentoring development teams

- Strong problem solving, design, and technology evaluation skills

- Ability to work remote/offshore and coordinate across teams

- Number and quality of new IPs/tools delivered

- Certification and readiness of TSP products

- Adoption of tools across TSP offerings

- Engineering quality, scalability, and innovation velocity
