Job Summary :
We are seeking a proactive and experienced IT System Administrator to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing and maintaining our organization's IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and user experience. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with network administration, system upgrades, IT support, and security best practices, along with strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities :
- Monitor and maintain company networks, servers, and IT systems to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Manage the IT Help Desk and provide technical support to internal users.
- Install, configure, and upgrade hardware and software in alignment with business requirements.
- Implement and enforce IT security protocols and procedures to protect systems from internal and external threats.
- Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
- Perform diagnostic tests, troubleshoot issues, and apply effective debugging procedures.
- Regularly backup systems and archive data in accordance with company policies.
- Develop and implement data retrieval and disaster recovery plans.
- Design systems for collecting user feedback and error reporting to improve IT services.
- Supervise and mentor junior IT staff, fostering a culture of learning and technical growth.
- Keep abreast of current trends and advancements in IT administration and cybersecurity.
- Ensure network and data security through firewalls, antivirus software, and other tools.
- Build and maintain internal documentation, technical manuals, and IT policy wikis.
- Set up and manage user workstations and associated peripherals.
- Familiarity with international calling tools is a plus.
- Provide L1/L2 support for Windows devices including OS, drivers, networking, and peripherals.
- Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems
- Set up and provision new devices.
- Manage device compliance and onboarding of unmanaged devices into Intune.
- Administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Intune (users, groups, licenses, MFA setup and configuring conditional policies)
- Handle VPN connectivity issues for users (authentication, tunnel issues, client setup).
- Troubleshoot internal business applications and coordinate with app owners.
- Coordinate hardware repairs and warranty claims with vendors.
- Maintain accurate IT inventory (laptops, accessories, asset tags, allocation records).
- Document procedures, create KBs, and prepare presentations for internal/client teams.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Professional certifications such as Microsoft (MCSA/MCSE) are preferred.
- sMinimum of 3 years of experience in a similar IT system administration role.
- In-depth knowledge of IT systems, networking, and system security practices.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead small teams and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and documentation capabilities.
- Windows Desktop OS installation, configuration, and upgrades.
- Strong Intune skills (policies, profiles, Autopilot, compliance, remote actions).
- Active Directory user/group/computer management.
- Microsoft 365 Admin Center (license assignment, user management).
- Entra ID (Conditional Access, MFA configurations, identity troubleshooting).
- VPN troubleshooting and client configuration skills.
- Internal application management and authentication troubleshooting.
- Hardware diagnostics and vendor coordination.
- Inventory management (asset tracking, allocation, lifecycle updates).
Preferred Skills :
- Familiarity with ITSM tools and ticketing systems.
- Exposure to scripting or automation tools is an advantage. - Excellent communication with internal users and clients.
- Ability to explain technical issues in simple language.
- Strong documentation and presentation skills.
- Ownership mindset with proactive follow-ups.
- Calm handling of escalations and priority incidents.
