Job Summary :
We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically adept Application Analyst to support, maintain, and enhance business-critical applications. The ideal candidate will work closely with users, IT teams, and vendors to ensure smooth functioning of software systems, resolve application issues, perform root cause analysis, and participate in application upgrades, configurations, and integrations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Act as the primary point of contact for application-related issues, ensuring timely troubleshooting and resolution.
- Provide functional and technical support for business applications including user access, configuration, and data integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather application requirements, define workflows, and implement changes or enhancements.
- Monitor application performance, identify bottlenecks or issues, and take corrective actions as needed.
- Manage application configuration, testing, deployment, and documentation.
- Coordinate with software vendors for support, updates, and issue escalation.
- Participate in application upgrades and patching activities while minimizing business disruption.
- Support application integrations with internal and external systems using APIs, web services, or
middleware tools.
- Assist in UAT, system validation, and documentation of test cases, training manuals, and user guides.
- Maintain data accuracy and consistency by conducting routine audits and reports.
Required Technical Skills :
- Working knowledge of business application platforms such as ERP, CRM, HRMS, EHR, or custom-built enterprise apps.
- Experience with databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL) including writing queries and performing data analysis.
- Familiarity with integration technologies like APIs, ETL tools, or middleware.
- Basic knowledge of scripting or automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Shell scripting) is a plus.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and change management processes.
- Experience in ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Zendesk.
Preferred Experience (based on domain) :
- Exposure to finance, healthcare, manufacturing, or retail domain applications.
- Familiarity with cloud-based applications (e.g., Salesforce, Workday, MS Dynamics, ServiceNow, SAP Cloud).
