Test Framework Developer - Python Programming

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Tester / Test Framework Developer with 4-8 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, test framework design, and Python programming. You should be passionate about quality, eager to learn new technologies, and comfortable working with both software and hardware components.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust test frameworks to support automated and manual testing.

- Work on testing the backend code, debugger and UI application.

- Collaborate with development and offshore teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective test strategies.

- Develop and execute test cases, scripts, and scenarios for both software and hardware components.

- Identify, document, and track defects, and work closely with team to ensure timely resolution.

- Continuously improve test processes, tools, and methodologies.

- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in testing and automation.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 4 to 8 years of experience in software testing and test framework development.

- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, test case design, and defect management.

- Proven experience in designing and implementing test frameworks.

- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).

- Familiarity in build tools like Jenkins, Maven.

- Proficient in Python programming for test automation.

- Experience in working with hardware or willingness to work with hardware devices.

- Ability to think critically and analytically from a testing perspective.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.

Good to have qualifications:

- Experience with CI/CD tools and processes.

- Familiarity with other programming languages (e.g., C, C++, Java) is a plus.

- Experience with embedded systems or IoT devices.

- Experience with CMake, CTest.
