Job Description

The Program Manager bridges strategic technical planning, hands-on architectural design, and cross-functional delivery execution. In this role, you will define the blueprint for scalable, event-driven AWS cloud applications while simultaneously managing the overall program lifecycle, managing cross-team dependencies, and ensuring alignment with corporate business objectives.

Core Responsibilities :

- Program & Delivery Management : Track, manage, and drive large-scale application development initiatives, aligning timelines, managing risks, and untangling multi-team dependencies.

- Architecture & Design : Design secure, fault-tolerant, and cost-effective cloud application blueprints utilizing the AWS Well-Architected Framework.

- Team Leadership & Governance : Direct agile engineering squads, drive engineering excellence, and enforce cloud governance and AWS IAM security baselines.

- Automation & IaC : Define infrastructure-as-code patterns to automate deployment pipelines and multienvironment application infrastructure.

- Stakeholder Alignment : Act as the primary interface between product management, executive leadership, and technical teams, translating product vision into phased execution milestones.

Technical Requirements :

- Experience : 12+ years in IT/Software engineering, with 5+ years in a hybrid role spanning systems architecture, team leadership, and technical delivery.

- Serverless & Microservices : Deep expertise building systems with AWS Lambda, Amazon ECS/EKS, API Gateway, and AWS Step Functions.

- Messaging & Event-Driven : Strong implementation experience with Amazon EventBridge, SQS, and SNS.

- Data Modeling : Advanced knowledge of both NoSQL and Relational databases, specifically Amazon DynamoDB and Amazon Aurora.

- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Hands-on mastery of AWS CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation.

- CI/CD & DevOps : Experience establishing automated release pipelines via AWS CodePipeline or GitHub Actions.

Program & Leadership Skills :

- Advanced proficiency in managing complex backlogs, resource alignments.

- Expertise in managing and leading multi-functional agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe, Scrum@Scale, or Kanban).

- Exceptional communication skills to present project metrics, risk-mitigation strategies, and architectural roadmaps to executive-level leadership.

Preferred Certifications :

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional

- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional
