Techversant is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Python Lead to design and implement scalable, high-performance AI-driven applications using the latest technologies in Python, cloud, and machine learning. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python development, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for mentoring and guiding team members.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Lead and manage a team of Python developers, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of projects.

- Design and develop scalable backend applications using Python, Django, and Flask.

- Create technical designs and architecture that support diverse client requirements.

- Evaluate project requirements, define scope, and prepare effort estimates.

- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable production-grade Python code.

- Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and test-driven development (TDD) practices.

- Manage software releases, code, and modules in production environments.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams including frontend, DevOps, and QA.

- Follow and promote Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance and scalability.

- Mentor junior developers and promote engineering best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 6+ years of overall experience in Python development.

- Strong expertise in Django and Flask frameworks.

- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on, production-level Python coding experience.

- Solid understanding of software development methodologies.

- Experience working in Agile development environments.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Ability to work independently as well as lead a team.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience with Scrapy, Flask, Django, and Python.

- Experience with RDBMS such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.

- Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery.

- Experience with frontend frameworks such as ReactJS or Angular.

- Hands-on experience with Linux environments.

- Understanding of deployment and system architecture.

- Strong experience with Docker; Kubernetes experience is a plus.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines; hands-on experience with Jenkins and Git workflows is an advantage.

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or DigitalOcean.

- Experience with source control management tools (Git preferred).
