We are looking for a Technical Manager to lead our growing engineering organization, spanning AI Engineers, DevOps, and Full-stack Developers. This role is pivotal to scaling our healthcare AI platform that delivers personalized, compliant, and high-impact solutions across global markets.

You will be responsible for both technical delivery and people leadership : ensuring robust, secure, and compliant systems while empowering a multi-pod team to deliver at startup speed.

About the Role :

Team & Leadership :

- Directly manage 3 pods : AI/ML, DevOps, and Full-stack development teams.

- Recruit, mentor, and retain top engineering talent; set growth paths and performance goals.

- Create a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.

- Conduct regular 1 : 1s, feedback sessions, and skill development plans.

Delivery & Execution :

- Translate product roadmaps into sprint plans with clear technical outcomes.

- Drive release velocity, improve deployment frequency, and reduce lead time for changes.

- Establish and track KPIs

- Ensure cross-team alignment with product managers, designers, and compliance leads.

AI Engineering & MLOPs :

- Oversee operationalization of LLMs, RAG pipelines, vector DBs, and AI-powered services.

- Implement guardrails for safety, monitoring, bias mitigation, and regulatory compliance.

- Drive MLOps best practices : automated retraining, drift detection, evaluation pipelines.

- Balance cutting-edge AI innovation with production reliability.

Platform & infrastructure :

- Own cloud strategy (AWS + GCP hybrid); optimize infra costs and performance.

- Oversee containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes), IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation).

- Ensure observability through Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/Datadog dashboards.

- Lead incident response, disaster recovery planning, and SLA management.

- Partner with security/compliance to pass audits (ISO27001, SOC2, HIPAA, PDPA).

Strategic Impact :

- Work with leadership to define engineering strategy, budgets, and hiring plans.

- Evaluate new technologies for adoption (AI frameworks, cloud services, monitoring tools).

- Represent engineering in customer or partner discussions when required.

- Act as a multiplier : improve throughput, reduce risks, and align delivery with business goals.

Requirements :

- 3-4 years in engineering team leadership roles.

- Familiarity with AI/ML production systems : model serving, RAG, vector DBs, monitoring.

- Proven track record managing multi-pod engineering teams.

- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional communication skills.

Nice to Have :

- Background in healthcare tech, medical devices, or regulated SaaS.

- Hands-on exposure to Python, React, Neo4j.

- Multi-region deployment leadership (APAC / GCC).

- Experience leading rapid scale-ups in high-growth startups.
