The person should have a clear understanding of coding; however, it's acceptable if they don't code today, as long as they can specify what needs to be done.

It is more of a solution architect with development understanding.

Coding will be super great on top of this.

We would need a candidate who has been part of SAP implementation / transformation from old versions to Hana / integations with third party applications / anyone with exposure of architecture for Manufacturing clients.

Role Overview :

We are looking for a client-facing SAP Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Supply Chain processes and SAP integration.

This is a high-impact consulting role where you will drive end-to-end solution ownership from business requirement discovery and blueprinting to deployment and client adoption.

You will work closely with enterprise clients, translating business challenges into scalable SAP-enabled solutions while ensuring measurable business outcomes.

This role is ideal for professionals who combine SAP functional expertise with strong consulting, stakeholder management, and solution design capabilities.

Key Responsibilities :

1. End-to-End Solution Ownership :

- Lead requirement gathering workshops and stakeholder discovery sessions.

- Document, analyze, and prioritize business requirements across multiple clients.

- Prepare Business Blueprints (TO-BE processes) and align them with SAP and SuperProcure capabilities.

- Identify gaps and define customization requirements.

2. SAP Functional & Integration Consulting :

- Lead the end-to-end solutioning of SAPTMS integrations, ensuring scalability, security, and reusability across multiple business scenarios (Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Logistics Execution).

- Define integration architecture using APIs and related technologies.

- Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications.

- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure accurate implementation.

3. Implementation & Client Engagement :

- Drive solution implementation lifecycle from design to go-live.

- Conduct client walkthroughs and obtain sign-offs on specifications.

- Support testing cycles by defining business scenarios.

- Deliver client training workshops and enable change management initiatives.

- Participate in periodic client reviews and drive customer success outcomes.

4. Governance & Delivery Excellence :

- Support Project Managers in scoping, planning, and tracking deliverables.

- Define and standardize frameworks for requirement elicitation and documentation.

- Ensure alignment between business objectives and technical execution.

- Mentor and guide Business Analysts within the team.

Skills & Qualifications :

Experience :

- 10- 20 years of total IT experience.

- 5+years in SAP Functional Consulting / Solution Consulting / Integration Consulting roles.

- Experience in consulting or product implementation environments preferred.

Functional & Technical Expertise :

- Prior experience working as SAP Functional or Technical Consultant.

- Good understanding of Supply Chain and Logistics domain.

- Experience with APIs and system integrations.

- Strong knowledge of business process mapping and blueprint documentation.

- Exposure to SAP modules such as MM, SD, or related supply chain modules preferred.

- Experience in requirement consolidation across cross-functional groups.

Tools & Methodologies (Preferred) :

- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Zoho Projects, Asana.

- Exposure to workflow or wireframing tools (e.g., Adobe XD).

- Experience working in structured project delivery environments.
