Techno-Functional Consultant - MES Implementation

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Lead MES implementation and transformation initiatives across manufacturing environments.

- Gather business requirements and define MES solutions aligned with manufacturing processes.

- Perform AS-IS analysis and define TO-BE MES architecture and solution design.

- Configure, deploy, and support DELMIA Apriso MES solutions.

- Integrate MES platforms with SAP, shop-floor systems, historians, middleware, and enterprise applications.

- Support MES integrations using OPC interfaces and industrial automation standards.

- Work with OEM and discrete manufacturing customers on process improvement initiatives.

- Manage testing, deployment, production go-live, and hyper care support activities.

- Collaborate with business, IT, plant, and vendor stakeholders across global delivery models.

- Support multi-site MES rollouts and continuous improvement programs.

- Work on process automation SDLC, manufacturing standards, and MES governance practices.

- Provide technical and functional support for Apriso, Simatic IT, or GE MES platforms.

Skills Required :

- Strong experience with DELMIA Apriso 2022/2023 MES solutions.

- Good understanding of discrete manufacturing and OEM environments.

- Experience with MES integration, middleware, OPC interfaces, and shop-floor systems.

- Knowledge of SAP integration and enterprise manufacturing processes.

- Familiarity with ISA95, MESA, APQC, and process automation standards.

- Hands-on experience with SQL, Oracle, scripting, and MES databases.

- Exposure to PLC, SCADA, historians, and industrial automation systems is an added advantage.

- Experience managing global rollouts, hyper care, and stakeholder coordination.

- Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.

Education :

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computers, Electronics, Telecommunication, Instrumentation & Control, Industrial Automation, Chemical Engineering, or related disciplines.
