Job Summary :
We are looking for an experienced Technical Writer with 5+ years of experience to create clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation for our products and technical processes. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineering, product, and support teams to translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Key Responsibilities :
- Create, edit, and maintain high-quality technical documentation including user guides, manuals, API documentation, SOPs, FAQs, and release notes.
- Work closely with product managers, developers, QA teams, and support teams to gather technical information.
- Translate complex technical concepts into simple, clear, and user-friendly content.
- Maintain documentation standards, templates, and style guidelines.
- Update documentation based on product releases, feature updates, and process changes.
- Review and improve existing documentation for clarity, accuracy, and completeness.
- Manage documentation repositories and version control systems.
- Ensure documentation aligns with company branding, tone, and quality standards.
- Support internal teams by preparing training materials, knowledge base articles, and internal documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- 5+ years of experience as a Technical Writer or similar role.
- Strong ability to write clear and concise technical content.
- Experience in documenting software products, APIs, technical processes, or IT systems.
- Proficiency with documentation tools such as MS Word, Confluence, SharePoint, Markdown, or similar tools.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile environments.
- Excellent research, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience with API documentation tools (Swagger, Postman, etc.).
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, or basic coding concepts.
- Experience working with documentation management systems or knowledge bases.
- Familiarity with UX writing or product documentation.
