Role Overview :

We are looking for a Technical Writer who can translate complex technical concepts into clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation. The role involves working closely with Product Managers, Engineers, QA, and Support teams to create and maintain high-quality documentation for platform features, APIs, workflows, and user guides. The ideal candidate has strong writing skills, a solid understanding of software systems, and the ability to think from the end users perspective.

Key Responsibilities :

- Create, review, and maintain technical documentation including :

1. User guides and manuals

2. Platform and module documentation

3. API documentation

4. Configuration and deployment guides

5. Release notes and change logs

- Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineering teams to understand features, workflows, and technical details.

- Convert complex technical information into simple, structured, and easy-to-understand content.

- Ensure documentation is accurate, consistent, and aligned with the latest product releases.

- Maintain version control and documentation updates across releases.

- Work with UX and Support teams to ensure documentation improves user adoption and reduces support queries.

- Follow documentation standards, templates, and style guides.

- Support audit, compliance, and customer-facing documentation requirements when needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, English, Technical Communication, or a related field.

- 2+ years of experience as a Technical Writer in a software or technology-driven environment.

- Strong written English skills with attention to clarity, grammar, and structure.

- Ability to understand software concepts such as :

1. Web applications and platforms

2. APIs and integrations

3. Workflows, data pipelines, or system architecture (high-level understanding is sufficient)

- Experience working with documentation tools such as :

1. Microsoft Word / Google Docs

3. Confluence / Notion / Wiki tools

3. Markdown-based documentation (preferred)

- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple documentation tasks in parallel.

Good to Have :

- Experience documenting SaaS or platform-based products.

- Familiarity with Agile / SDLC environments.

- Basic understanding of REST APIs, JSON, or database concepts.

- Experience creating diagrams, flowcharts, or visual documentation.

- Exposure to AI / GenAI / data platforms is a plus.

Soft Skills :

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to ask the right questions and clarify ambiguities.

- High attention to detail and quality.

- Self-driven and comfortable working with minimal supervision.

- Ability to balance technical accuracy with user simplicity.
