About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Murex Technical Specialist with strong expertise in Murex Datamart and MXML, along with exposure to Murex Front Office, testing, and environment support. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills in SQL, Unix, and Oracle and experience working with business analysts and technology teams to deliver and support Murex solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain Murex Datamart solutions based on business and reporting requirements.

- Develop and maintain Murex configurations and interfaces using MXML.

- Work with business analysts and Front Office stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Support Murex Front Office functionality and related technical requirements.

- Develop, execute, and support testing activities for Murex applications, including functional, integration, regression, and release testing.

- Perform troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of Murex Datamart, MXML, interface, and application issues.

- Support Murex environments, deployments, releases, and environment-related activities.

- Work with SQL and Oracle databases for data validation, analysis, troubleshooting, and Datamart development.

- Use Unix/Linux for application monitoring, troubleshooting, scripting, and operational activities.

- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development and technical standards.

- Collaborate with Murex developers, business analysts, QA teams, Front Office users, infrastructure teams, and other stakeholders.

- Support SIT/UAT, production releases, and post-production issue resolution.

- Investigate data discrepancies, interface failures, and application issues and drive timely resolution.

- Prepare and maintain technical documentation for Datamart solutions, MXML configurations, interfaces, testing, and support procedures.

- Contribute to performance, stability, and maintainability improvements across Murex solutions.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 6 - 11 years of experience working with Murex in development, testing, support, or technical implementation roles.

- Strong hands-on experience with Murex Datamart development and maintenance.

- Strong experience with Murex MXML.

- Good understanding of Murex Front Office / FO functionality and related business processes.

- Experience in Murex application testing, including functional, integration, regression, and release testing.

- Exposure to Murex Environment Engineering / environment support, deployments, and production support.

- Strong hands-on experience with SQL and Oracle databases.

- Good working knowledge of Unix/Linux environments.

- Experience working with business analysts to understand requirements and develop technical solutions.

- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills across Murex applications, Datamart, interfaces, and environments.

- Experience with SDLC, testing, release management, and production support processes.

- Good understanding of financial markets and capital markets applications is preferred.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
