About the Role :

We are looking for a highly skilled Technical ServiceNow Developer with strong hands-on experience in IT Operations Management (ITOM), Common Service Data Model (CSDM), and API integrations.The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and enhancing ServiceNow solutions that align with CSDM principles, automate ITOM processes, and integrate seamlessly with external systems and microservices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, configure, and develop ServiceNow ITOM solutions (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, CMDB).

- Implement and maintain CSDM framework to ensure data consistency and proper service modeling.

- Develop and integrate REST/SOAP APIs to connect ServiceNow with third-party tools and internal systems.

- Create and enhance custom applications, business rules, client scripts, script includes, and flow designer flows.

- Ensure data integrity and accuracy within CMDB and service models.

- Work closely with architects and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to integrations, discovery, and CMDB relationships.

- Participate in ServiceNow upgrades, testing, and release management.

- Follow best practices and governance guidelines for scalable ServiceNow development.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer.

- Strong expertise in ITOM modules - Discovery, Event Management, Service Mapping.

- Proven experience with CSDM (Common Service Data Model) implementation and governance.

- Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, and Scripted REST APIs.

- Experience in integrating ServiceNow with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs and webhooks.

- Solid understanding of CMDB architecture, data relationships, and service models.

- Exposure to ServiceNow platform administration, including update sets, ACLs, and application scopes.

- Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize integrations and background scripts.

- Experience working in Agile / DevOps environments.

Good to Have :

- ServiceNow Certifications (CSA, CAD, CIS-ITOM, or CSDM).

- Experience with Discovery Patterns and MID Server configuration.

- Knowledge of Cloud integrations (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Familiarity with ITSM and CMDB health dashboards.
