Technical Project Manager - Java/J2EE

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager Java with strong expertise in Java/J2EE application development, project delivery management, and enterprise application architecture.

The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in managing end-to-end software development projects, leading technical teams, and delivering scalable web and mobile applications in Agile environments.

This role requires a combination of strong technical expertise, project management capabilities, stakeholder coordination, and leadership skills to successfully deliver high-quality technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead end-to-end project delivery for Java/J2EE and mobile application development projects.

- Manage project planning, execution, tracking, delivery, and post-production support activities.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, developers, QA teams, and clients to define project scope and technical solutions.

- Drive architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise-grade applications.

- Prepare project plans, estimations, schedules, resource allocation, and delivery roadmaps.

- Monitor project progress, timelines, risks, dependencies, and quality metrics.

- Ensure timely delivery of projects within scope, budget, and quality standards.

- Conduct technical reviews, code reviews, and solution validation.

- Manage Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and release planning.

- Identify project risks proactively and implement mitigation strategies.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for issue resolution and smooth project execution.

- Ensure adherence to development standards, security guidelines, and quality assurance processes.

- Provide regular status updates, reports, and communication to management and stakeholders.

- Support client discussions, requirement analysis, and solution presentations.

- Mentor and guide development teams on technical and process best practices.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization.

Technical Skills & Expertise :

Backend & Application Development

Strong hands-on experience in :

- Java

- J2EE

- Spring Framework

- Hibernate

- MVC Architecture

- Experience developing enterprise web and mobile applications.

- Strong understanding of RESTful web services and API integrations.

- Experience with MySQL and relational databases.

- Familiarity with Java FX and modern application frameworks.

Frontend Technologies :

Hands-on experience with :

- HTML5

- CSS3

- JavaScript

- jQuery

- AJAX

Project Management Skills :

- Experience in project estimation, scheduling, resource planning, and delivery tracking.

- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).

- Experience managing Agile development methodologies and Scrum teams.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

- Experience in quality assurance, release management, and delivery governance.

- Expertise in stakeholder communication and client management.

Preferred Skills :

- Banking or financial domain experience is highly preferred.

- Experience handling at least 4-6 end-to-end project lifecycles successfully.

- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is an added advantage.

- Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD practices.

- Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization technologies.

- PMP, Scrum Master, or Agile certifications are preferred.
