Job Position : Technical Project Manager - Java

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead our software development projects from conception to completion.

The ideal candidate will combine strong hands-on technical expertise in Java-based technologies with proven project management skills to drive project execution, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the entire project lifecycle, from defining scope, goals, and deliverables to final project closure.

- Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and within financial scope.

- Assemble and guide project teams, assigning tasks and monitoring performance to foster a collaborative and high-performing environment.

- Act as the central point of communication for all stakeholders, including clients and internal teams, providing regular progress updates and managing expectations.

- Leverage deep technical knowledge to guide development teams, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure technical solutions align with project goals.

- Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, manage changes to scope and schedule, and implement quality assurance processes to ensure deliverables meet the highest standards.

- Apply Agile (Scrum, Kanban) or Waterfall methodologies based on project requirements.

- Maintain comprehensive and accurate project documentation, including plans, status reports, and final evaluations.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Experience : 9 to 11 years of professional experience with a significant focus on technical project management.

- Education : A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (B.E/B.Tech/MCA/M.Sc(IT)).

- Java Expertise : Very good hands-on experience in Java 8 and server-side programming.

- Framework Proficiency : Hands-on experience with the Spring MVC framework, including building REST APIs.

- Web Technologies : Experience with JavaScript frameworks like jQuery.

- Database Skills : Good experience with SQL and database management.

- Problem-Solving : Excellent troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve reported issues efficiently.

- Methodology : Proven experience working with Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and/or Waterfall methodologies.

Preferred Certifications :

- Project Management Professional (PMP)

- PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
