Role : Technical Project Manager

Technical Project Manager will be part of Digital Commerce vertical and lead the convergence of Digital Commerce architecture, cloud transformation, and generative AI innovation. The role will act as the principal architect and delivery lead, define the end-to-end architecture for B2B and B2C commerce platforms, drive digital transformation initiatives, and collaborate with business and technology teams to build omnichannel commerce experiences. This hybrid role requires deep system design expertise and rigorous technical program management to steer cross-functional engineering teams from concept to production.

Responsibilities :

- Design and implement high-performance, MACH-aligned (Microservices, API-first, Cloud-Native, Headless) omni-channel B2B & B2C commerce solutions.

- Develop solution blueprints, reference architectures, and technical standards.

- Design product catalog, pricing, promotions, order management, and checkout processes.

- Define omnichannel commerce strategies and customer experience journeys.

- Drive platform modernization and digital transformation initiatives.

- Design API-led integrations with enterprise systems, including ERP, CRM, Payment gateways, Inventory management systems, Logistics and shipping providers & Third-party marketplaces.

- Define caching and content delivery strategies, Conduct capacity planning and performance optimization.

- AI Integration - Architect and integrate Generative AI capabilities into the commerce ecosystem, including personalized search, conversational commerce assistants, and automated content generation.

- Cloud Transformation - Lead the migration, optimization, and modernization of legacy commerce systems onto enterprise cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

- Vendor Evaluation - Conduct technical due diligence on third-party commerce platforms, AI & LLM providers, and modern SaaS tooling.

- Lifecycle Ownership - Own the technical implementation roadmap, managing dependencies, risk mitigation, and end-to-end delivery schedules.

- Agile Governance - Lead agile engineering squads, managing sprint velocity, scoping technical debt, and clearing architectural roadblocks.

- Resource Orchestration - Align cross-functional teams spanning data engineering, cloud operations, security, and frontend development.

- Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.

- Technical Liaison - Translate business-critical commerce KPIs into definitive technical requirements for engineering teams.

- Executive Influence : Engage with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives, present architectural roadmaps to C-level executives, securing buy-in for technology investments.

Candidate Profile :

- Minimum 12+ years of industry experience in enterprise software engineering, solutions architecture, and technical program management.

- Domain Expertise - Minimum 6+ years specifically within Digital Commerce, showcasing deep knowledge of cart/checkout mechanics, order management (OMS), product information management (PIM), and payment gateways.

- Experience with large-scale digital transformation programs in Retail, Consumer Goods, Manufacturing, or Digital Commerce Domains.

- Technical architectural skills in Java, Springboot, Microservices, Python 3.x and UI - ReactJS, NextJS, NodeJS.

- Experience in design and developing high-performance RESTful APIs / Microservices.

- Exp in APIs & integration - REST APIs, GraphQL, API Gateway, Webhooks, Message Queues, Event Streaming (Kafka).

- Technical proficiency in Cloud Technologies (PASS, SAAS, Azure/AWS/GCP..etc).

- Should have experience in DevOps automation and Databases (RDBMS & document databases).

- Technology thought leader & keeps up with new technologies.

- Understand NFR (performance, scalability, security, data privacy, etc...).

- Experience & understanding of Gen AI, AI, MI, Deep Learning, RAG & LLM is desirable.

- Bachelor's in Computer Science (preferred) with strong communication skills.
