Job Title : Technical Project Manager (Data Engineering Background)

Location : Udaipur

Experience : 5- 10years

Role Overview :

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager with a strong background in Data Engineering to lead and manage end-to-end data projects. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business, data teams, and engineering, ensuring timely delivery of scalable and high-quality data solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and manage multiple data engineering projects from planning to delivery

- Work closely with data engineers, architects, and stakeholders to define project scope and timelines

- Drive design, development, and deployment of data pipelines, data warehouses, and ETL processes

- Ensure projects follow best practices in data governance, security, and quality

- Manage sprint planning, backlog grooming, and agile ceremonies

- Track project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, analytics, and business stakeholders

- Communicate project updates, status reports, and KPIs to leadership

- Ensure scalability, performance, and reliability of data systems

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

- 5+ years of experience in project/program management

- Strong experience in Data Engineering concepts and architectures

- Hands-on experience with ETL tools and data pipeline frameworks

- Experience with SQL, Python, or similar programming languages

- Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP

- Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Kafka)

- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in data warehousing (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, etc.)

- Certification in PMP, Scrum Master, or Agile

- Exposure to BI tools like Tableau or Power BI

- Prior experience in leading distributed/global teams
