Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Technical Project Manager with deep expertise in Azure Databricks Architecture to lead large-scale data transformation programs.

This role demands strong leadership, architectural vision, and the ability to drive complex enterprise data initiatives while managing multiple stakeholders and delivery streams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise-grade data platforms within the Azure ecosystem.

- Own and drive Azure Databricks architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and cost optimization.

- Manage multiple high-impact programs/projects across cross-functional teams.

- Collaborate with business leaders, data architects, and engineering teams to define strategy and execution roadmap.

- Establish and enforce best practices for data engineering, governance, security, and compliance.

- Drive program governance, risk mitigation, and executive-level stakeholder communication.

- Oversee solution design, code quality, release management, and deployment strategies.

- Enable Agile delivery models and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.

- Lead RFI/RFP responses, solutioning, and participate in fixed bid estimations and proposal development.

- Drive commercial discussions, effort estimation, and cost modeling for large-scale engagements.

- Mentor and guide project managers, technical leads, and engineering teams.

- Manage and scale teams, ensuring high performance, engagement, and delivery excellence.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 14+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in Project/Program Management roles.

- Strong expertise in Azure Databricks Architecture and implementation.

- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Services (ADLS, Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics).

- Deep understanding of data lakes, data warehouses, and ETL/ELT frameworks.

- Proficiency in PySpark, SQL, and distributed data processing.

- Proven experience in large-scale data migration and modernization programs.

- Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, microservices, and distributed systems.

- Expertise in Agile, Scrum, and SAFe methodologies.

- Experience with tools such as JIRA and Azure DevOps.

- Proven experience in fixed price projects, bidding models, and contract-based delivery.

- Strong people management experience including team scaling, performance management, and stakeholder handling.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Microsoft Azure Certifications (Azure Solutions Architect / Azure Data Engineer).

- Experience with Databricks Lakehouse Architecture.

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates).

- Exposure to AI/ML workloads on Databricks.
