Job Description

Job Title : Technical Project Manager


Notice period : 0 to 30 days


Experience : 10 to 15 years


Work mode : Hybrid (3Days WFO)


Location : Mumbai


Key Responsibilities :


- Developing project plans, including defining project scope, goals, deliverables, and schedules


- Coordinating with internal and external resources to ensure project success.


- Managing project budgets and finances and ensuring that all project costs are controlled and recorded.


- Communicating project status to stakeholders, including project team members, sponsors, and senior management


- Managing and tracking project issues and risks, and escalating as necessary


- Ensuring that all project deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and to the required quality standards.


- Continuously monitoring and evaluating project progress and adjusting as necessary to ensure project success.


- Developing and maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders, including project team members, sponsors, and suppliers


- Participate in business meetings with Function/Delivery Heads; review contracts, carry out risk analysis and mitigation exercises and update the Management on the same.


- Build customer confidence through detailing, pro-active nature, business value additions and quality.


- Conduct regular status meetings with stakeholders and communicate risks identified, actions planned, forecasted dates for milestones, dependencies with client teams etc.


- Negotiate and arrive at consensus on scope changes, change requests etc.


Required Skill :


- Extensive project and program management experience in a fast-paced, multi-project environment, with responsibility for Risk Management and client engagement


- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.


- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization, e.g., executive, management, individual contributors.


- Proficiency in client communication and escalation management


- Excellent problem solving, team and time management skills managing multiple deadlines for self and others.


- Proficiency in evaluating the performance capabilities of subordinates as well as counsel subordinates in development and/or corrective discipline.


- Proficiency in making projections of future expenses based on analysis of cost effectiveness of past expenditures.


- Experience managing multiple clients and a global client base with strong knowledge of Agile/SCRUM processes.


- Experience of leading teams located in multiple regions would be an added advantage.


- Proficiency to operate independently


- Experience in Global stakeholder (Europe, USA)


- Minimum 5-7 with true Project Management experience


- Has been working as a PM directly with NA/EMEA stakeholder.


- At least one 2-3 year or two 1+ years project(s) as the PM in Capital Markets
