Job Title : Technical Project Manager (with Software Engineering Background)

Job Summary :

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager with a strong software engineering background to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technology projects. The ideal candidate combines hands-on technical expertise with project management skills to drive high-quality software delivery, manage cross-functional teams, and align engineering efforts with business goals.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead end-to-end delivery of software development projects (planning - execution - release)

- Collaborate with stakeholders, product managers, and engineering teams to define scope and objectives

- Break down requirements into actionable tasks, timelines, and deliverables

- Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)

- Manage project timelines, risks, dependencies, and resource allocation

- Provide technical guidance and make informed decisions on architecture and design trade-offs

- Review code, system designs, and technical solutions when necessary

- Ensure best practices in coding, testing, CI/CD, and DevOps are followed

- Track project metrics, KPIs, and report progress to leadership

- Identify and mitigate risks, blockers, and technical challenges proactively

- Facilitate communication between business and technical teams

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field

- 5 to 10+ years of experience in software development, with 2-5 years in project/program management

- Hands-on coding experience in languages like Python, Java, JavaScript, or similar

- Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, and APIs

- Proven experience managing Agile/Scrum teams

- Experience with project management tools (Jira, Confluence, MS Project, etc.)

- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications :

- Prior experience as a Software Engineer or Tech Lead

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

- Knowledge of DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes)

- Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems

- PMP, Scrum Master (CSM), or equivalent certification
