Technical Project Manager

Job Summary :

This role requires a strong technical background, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven ability to manage complex software development lifecycles.
The ideal candidate will be an expert communicator, problem-solver, and a champion of agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.

- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget estimates.

- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews for agile teams.

- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.

- Manage project resources, including assigning tasks, tracking progress, and fostering a collaborative team environment.

- Communicate project status, issues, and risks clearly and regularly to all stakeholders, including senior management.

- Act as the primary point of contact for technical teams, ensuring alignment with business goals and requirements.

- Ensure adherence to software development best practices, quality standards, and technical architecture guidelines.

- Identify and resolve technical roadblocks, working closely with engineering teams to find solutions.

- Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and improve future project management processes.

- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability within the project teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Master's degree preferred.

- 5+ years of progressive experience in technical project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex software projects.

- Solid understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).

- Strong technical background with a good understanding of various technologies (e.g., web development, cloud technologies, databases, APIs).

- Prior hands-on development experience is a significant plus.

- Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello, Microsoft Project).

- Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

- Risk management and conflict resolution expertise.

- Experience with budget management and resource allocation.

- PMP, CSM, or other relevant project management certifications are highly desirable.

Preferred Skills (Bonus Points) :

- Experience managing projects involving MERN, Laravel, or ReactJS technologies.

- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and data privacy regulations.

- Experience in a client-facing role or managing external vendor relationships
