Technical Project Manager

About the Role :

We are looking for a proactive and technically strong Technical Project Manager who thrives in fast-paced environments. This hybrid role blends hands-on coding with end-to-end project execution. You'll work closely with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into working solutions, manage delivery timelines, and roll up your sleeves to write or review code when needed. You are someone who brings clarity to chaos, makes confident technical decisions, and keeps execution on track without compromising quality.

Key Responsibilities :

Project & Delivery Management :

- Own project plans, sprint cadences, and delivery roadmaps.

- Facilitate standups, retrospectives, sprint planning, and stakeholder reviews.

- Drive progress tracking, risk management, and clear communication of ETAs and blockers.

- Coordinate across engineering, QA, design, and product to ensure on-time delivery.

Hands-on Technical Contribution :

- Write, review, or debug code in your area of expertise (e.g., Python, PHP, JavaScript).

- Good working understanding of Cloud (preferably AWS), Gen AI, GIT, etc.

- Create proof-of-concepts, scripts, or internal tools to unblock development.

- Collaborate with engineers on architecture and design decisions.

- Conduct basic devops or release automation tasks where required.

Business Analysis & Stakeholder Collaboration :

- Work with product owners, Operations and Business teams to gather requirements and define scope.

- Convert business needs into actionable user stories, BRDs/FRDs, and technical documentation.

- Manage expectations and align stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

- Maintain strong feedback loops with end users and internal teams.

Ideal Candidate Profile

- B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree.

- 6-8 years of experience in a mix of hands-on software development and project management.

- Strong grasp of modern web technologies, APIs, databases, and deployment pipelines.

- Demonstrated experience managing technical projects end-to-end using Agile practices.

- Strong command of tools like JIRA, Git, Postman, and deployment pipelines (CI/CD).

- Excellent communicator with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Comfortable switching between execution oversight and rolling up sleeves to write/debug code.

Bonus Skills :

- Certifications in Agile, Scrum, or Project Management (PMP/CSM).

- Exposure to devops tools like Jenkins, Docker, or AWS.

- Experience working in early-stage startups or tech-first product environments.
