Job Title : Technical Lead - Mobile Applications

Job Summary :

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Technical Lead - Mobile Applications to lead and coordinate the end-to-end delivery of mobile application projects across iOS and Android platforms.

This role will act as the central coordination point between engineering, design, product, and stakeholders, ensuring smooth execution of sprint cycles, technical alignment, and timely project delivery.

The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in mobile development along with proven experience in Agile delivery management, team coordination, code quality governance, and stakeholder communication.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and coordinate mobile application development activities across iOS and Android teams.

- Manage Agile sprint cycles, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and release tracking.

- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for internal teams and stakeholders.

- Ensure design assets, business requirements, and technical expectations are clearly communicated and understood by development teams.

- Review technical solutions, pull requests, and application architecture to maintain code quality and architectural integrity.

- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, UX/UI teams, QA teams, and Backend Engineers to ensure seamless project execution.

- Identify and proactively resolve blockers impacting development timelines or team productivity.

- Monitor project progress, risks, dependencies, and delivery milestones.

- Provide weekly status updates, technical progress reports, and escalation summaries to stakeholders and leadership teams.

- Ensure adherence to engineering best practices, coding standards, release processes, and documentation standards.

- Support effort estimation, technical planning, and resource coordination activities.

- Mentor developers and foster a collaborative, high-performance engineering culture.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across development workflows, Agile processes, and team productivity.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Experience :

- 7+ years of hands-on experience in mobile application development.

- 5+ years of experience in Agile project management, sprint coordination, or technical leadership roles.

- Proven experience leading cross-functional mobile application teams.

Technical Skills :

Strong understanding of :

i. iOS and Android application development

ii. Mobile application architecture principles

iii. REST APIs and backend integrations

iv. Mobile app deployment and release cycles

Experience with :

i. Code reviews and quality assurance practices

ii. Git/version control systems

iii. CI/CD workflows

iv. Agile project management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps

- Familiarity with cross-platform frameworks is an added advantage.

Agile & Delivery Management :

- Strong expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Experience managing sprint planning, task tracking, dependency management, and release coordination.

- Ability to balance technical priorities with delivery timelines.

Stakeholder & Team Coordination :

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Strong ability to translate business and design requirements into actionable technical tasks.

- Experience coordinating between distributed or offshore development teams is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience working on scalable enterprise mobile applications.

- Exposure to cloud-integrated mobile ecosystems.

- Understanding of application security and performance optimization practices.

- Scrum Master certification or Agile certifications are a plus.
