Role Overview :

We are looking for a high-agency Technical Program Manager (TPM) to drive the execution of complex product, platform, and financial initiatives.

You will work directly with Engineering, Product, Design and company leadership to take initiatives from ambiguity to production. This could include launching a new product or major feature, integrating with a bank or financial partner, scaling our transaction and ledger infrastructure, rolling out new risk capabilities, or improving platform reliability.

The ideal candidate is comfortable understanding system architecture, writes with clarity, and can turn complex, ambiguous dependencies into predictable execution plans and outcomes. This is not a project coordination role. We are looking for someone who can understand technical systems well enough to identify risks, challenge assumptions, drive decisions, and keep teams moving toward execution, without owning the engineering implementation itself.

Core Responsibilities :

- Drive Product & Platform Programs : Own end-to-end execution of complex cross-functional initiatives, from early planning through launch and post-launch follow-up.

- Product Launches : Partner with Product and Engineering to establish launch plans, milestones, dependencies, rollout strategies, operational readiness, and success metrics.

- Program Planning & Critical Path : Break ambiguous initiatives into executable workstreams, identify critical-path dependencies, and surface execution risks.

- Technical Alignment & Trade-offs : Partner with Engineering to understand system architecture and drive decisions across speed, scalability, reliability, and system safety.

- Banking & Vendor Partner Operations : Own technical delivery loops with external ecosystem partners, including sponsor banks, card networks, and payment processors.

- Written-First Execution : Author clear technical program specifications, architecture decision records, risk registers, and launch-readiness documents.

- Operational Readiness : Ensure new products have appropriate monitoring, SLAs, support processes, and incident readiness.

- Post-Launch & Program Outcomes : Track adoption, reliability, and business metrics to identify gaps and drive follow-up work.

Qualifications :

- 4+ years of experience in technical program management, engineering, or engineering management.

- Experience driving the delivery of products, major features, or platforms from planning through launch.

- Technical Fluency : Comfortable understanding system architecture, APIs, databases, distributed systems, AWS infrastructure, and event-driven architectures.

- Proven track record of taking ambiguous problems, resolving blockers, and driving multi-team programs to completion.

- Ability to drive execution across teams without relying on direct reporting relationships.

- Strong written communication skills, with a habit of documenting decisions, risks, and dependencies.

Nice to Haves :

- Fintech Domain Experience : Experience with core ledgers, credit/lending systems, payment rails, banking APIs, or fraud systems.

- AI-Assisted Execution : Experience using modern AI tools to accelerate documentation and program execution.
