Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Technical Lead Salesforce Development to join our technology team.

This role requires a strong technical leader who can guide development teams, drive solution architecture, and actively contribute to hands-on development while ensuring the delivery of scalable, secure, and high-quality Salesforce solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in the Salesforce ecosystem, integration architecture, Apex development, Lightning technologies, and enterprise application design, along with proven leadership experience managing and mentoring development teams.

Key Responsibilities :

Technical Leadership :

- Lead, mentor, and coach a team of Salesforce developers and engineers.

- Provide technical direction and architectural guidance throughout the software development lifecycle.

- Act as the primary technical point of contact for business stakeholders, architects, project managers, and cross-functional teams.

- Drive technical discussions, solution design reviews, and architecture decisions.

- Resolve technical challenges and facilitate consensus across teams.

Software Development :

- Contribute directly to development activities, dedicating approximately 80% of time to hands-on coding and solution implementation.

- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable Salesforce applications and integrations.

- Develop custom solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, Visualforce, and JavaScript.

- Build and maintain integrations with internal and external systems using REST, SOAP APIs, middleware, and event-driven architectures.

- Ensure high-quality code through adherence to coding standards and best practices.

Code Quality & Governance :

- Define and enforce development standards, coding guidelines, and architectural principles.

- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

- Ensure compliance with security, privacy, governance, and Salesforce sharing model best practices.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for development and maintenance processes.

Agile Delivery & Project Management :

- Participate in all phases of project delivery, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.

- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

- Provide project status updates and proactively identify risks and mitigation plans.

- Support Agile Scrum and Kanban methodologies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.

Production Support & Optimization :

- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.

- Analyze application performance bottlenecks and implement optimization strategies.

- Support deployment activities and ensure smooth production releases.

- Monitor system health and recommend improvements for scalability, reliability, and maintainability.

Team Management :

- Conduct performance reviews and provide structured, meaningful, and actionable feedback.

- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.

- Support recruitment, onboarding, and skill development initiatives within the team.

Required Skills & Experience :

Salesforce Expertise :

- 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.

7. Privacy and Sharing Settings

- Extensive experience with Salesforce integrations and API development.

Salesforce Cloud Experience :

- Preferred experience with :

1. Service Cloud

2. Financial Services Cloud

3. Marketing Cloud (good to have)

Programming & Architecture :

- Strong Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) expertise.

- Experience designing enterprise-scale applications and integration architectures.

- Strong understanding of design patterns and software engineering principles.

- Expertise in REST APIs, SOAP Services, and middleware integrations.

DevOps & Development Tools :

- Experience with :

Educational Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Salesforce Certifications such as :

1. Platform Developer I & II

2. Application Architect

3. System Architect

4. Technical Architect (preferred)

5. Sales Cloud Consultant

6. Service Cloud Consultant

Preferred Candidate Profile :

- 7+ years of software development experience.

- Minimum 23 years of experience in a Technical Lead capacity.

- Strong track record of delivering enterprise Salesforce implementations and integrations.

- Experience working in Agile environments with distributed teams.

- Passion for mentoring engineers and driving technical excellence
