Technical Lead - DevOps

Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead with strong expertise in AWS/Cloud, CI/CD, DevOps, Node.js, Java, networking, and software development. The candidate will be responsible for driving DevOps strategy, technical architecture, cloud adoption, automation, deployment processes, and platform reliability while providing technical leadership across multiple teams.

The role requires a combination of strong technical expertise, DevOps ownership, leadership, stakeholder management, and hands-on problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and own DevOps engineering initiatives across applications, platforms, and infrastructure.

- Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment speed, reliability, and automation.

- Drive AWS/cloud infrastructure, deployment, automation, scalability, and reliability initiatives.

- Define and implement DevOps best practices across development and production environments.

- Lead technical discussions around cloud architecture, deployment architecture, infrastructure automation, and application reliability.

- Collaborate with application development teams working on Java and Node.js applications.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to deployments, infrastructure, networking, application performance, and production environments.

- Drive automation across build, deployment, testing, monitoring, and operational processes.

- Establish and improve engineering standards around CI/CD, release management, environment management, and production deployments.

- Work closely with development, product, security, infrastructure, and business teams to manage technical dependencies.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to DevOps engineers and developers.

- Take ownership of technically complex projects and ensure successful delivery.

- Support production deployments and participate in incident/problem resolution when required.

- Identify opportunities to improve system reliability, scalability, performance, and operational efficiency.

- Communicate technical risks, dependencies, solutions, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Core Technical Skills :

Must-Have :

- Strong experience in DevOps and Cloud Engineering.

- Strong hands-on experience with AWS and cloud technologies.

- Expertise in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation.

- Strong experience with Jenkins or equivalent CI/CD tools.

- Good understanding of networking fundamentals, including connectivity, DNS, load balancing, security, and troubleshooting.

- Strong software development background with exposure to Java and/or Node.js.

- Experience with application deployment, production environments, and release management.

- Strong understanding of DevOps practices, automation, infrastructure, and cloud architecture.

- Proven experience in technical leadership and working across multiple engineering teams.
