Job Overview :

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Lead/Tech Lead BY Enterprise Supply Planning (BY ESP / SCPO) professional to join our Supply Chain Planning team. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Blue Yonder SCPO architecture, Oracle databases, environment management, ERP integrations, and production support activities.

The candidate will play a key role in designing scalable supply chain planning solutions, managing technical environments, supporting implementation activities, and mentoring team members to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities :

Solution Architecture & Design :

- Provide robust and scalable BY SCPO architecture solutions aligned with customer business requirements.

- Analyze customer needs and recommend best-fit technical and functional designs for BY ESP implementations.

- Participate in solution discussions, technical reviews, and architecture planning sessions.

Technical Development & Database Management :

- Work extensively with Oracle databases including :

1. SQL queries

2. Stored procedures

3. Database validations

4. Performance tuning activities

- Support and troubleshoot database-related issues across various project environments.

- Manage database refresh activities between production and cloud environments to support SIT and UAT phases.

Project Estimation & Delivery Support :

- Provide accurate effort estimations and technical inputs for BY ESP projects.

- Support implementation planning, deployment activities, and project execution.

- Assist in identifying technical risks and mitigation plans during project delivery.

Environment Setup & Infrastructure Support :

- Plan, configure, and maintain BY SCPO environments for :

i. Development

ii. Testing

iii. System Integration Testing (SIT)

iv. User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

v. Production support

- Build cloud-based testing environments aligned with on-premises infrastructure and file structures.

- Ensure consistency of database naming conventions and integration setup across environments.

ERP Integration & Batch Monitoring :

- Validate and monitor Control-M jobs responsible for data movement between ERP systems and BY SCPO.

- Ensure successful transfer of planning data between BY SCPO and ERP systems.

- Coordinate with technical teams to resolve interface and batch processing issues.

Network & Security Configuration

- Work with infrastructure and network teams for :

a. Virtual IP (VIP) setu p

b. Authentication configuration

c. BY portal setup and connectivity

- Ensure secure and stable system access across environments.

Go-Live & Hypercare Support :

- Participate in cutover planning and production deployment activities.

- Support business users during go-live and Hypercare phases.

- Troubleshoot and resolve critical production issues within defined timelines.

Application Support & Team Collaboration :

- Coordinate with Application Managed Services (AMS) teams for ongoing support and maintenance activities.

- Ensure smooth transition of applications from implementation to support phase.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business users, ERP teams, infrastructure teams, and support teams.

Mentoring & Team Development :

- Train and mentor junior team members to improve techno-functional expertise.

- Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and support capability-building initiatives within the team.

Required Skills & Expertise :

- Strong expertise in Blue Yonder Enterprise Supply Planning (BY ESP / SCPO).

- Deep understanding of BY SCPO architecture and supply chain planning processes.

- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.

- Experience in ERP integrations and interface management.

- Knowledge of Control-M job scheduling and monitoring.

- Experience managing cloud and on-premises environments.

- Understanding of SIT, UAT, production deployment, and Hypercare support processes.

- Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Exposure to Supply Chain Management (SCM) domain and planning concepts.

- Experience working in Agile project environments.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to work independently in fast-paced project environments.

Educational Qualification :

- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
