Technical Delivery Manager

About the Role :

We are looking for a seasoned Technical Delivery Manager with extensive experience in managing end-to-end software delivery across cross-functional teams, vendors, and global stakeholders.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise (Java, Python, PL/SQL, Cloud) and a proven track record in Agile project delivery, client engagement, and team leadership.

You will be responsible for overseeing milestone/sprint-based deliverables, managing performance, ensuring timely delivery, and providing technical direction across a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Roles and Responsibilities :

- Act as the single point of contact for customers for sprint and milestone delivery.

- Lead and manage programming and vendor teams across geographies.

- Ensure delivery commitments are met in terms of scope, time, quality, and effort.

- Understand business requirements and propose technical solutions and improvements.

- Actively participate in scrum discussions, client meetings, and technical planning.

- Lead staffing, capacity planning, and performance evaluations of team members.

- Mentor and guide team leads and developers to enhance delivery performance.

- Collaborate with onsite/offshore counterparts to ensure alignment and transparency.

- Track and manage team progress using Agile tools (e.g., JIRA).

- Handle escalations and build strong client relationships.

Mandatory/Primary Technical Skills :

- Strong understanding of Java, PL/SQL, Python, and REST API development.

- Proficient in RDBMS, Big Data, and Analytics.

- Expertise in at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Deep knowledge of microservices architecture and secure API development.

- Experience in web application development using React.js or Angular.

- Hands-on with DevOps practices, CI/CD, Git, and unit testing frameworks.

- Familiar with BDD (Behavior Driven Development) and coding standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
