Job Description

Role Overview :

As an SAP EWM Technical Consultant, you will serve as the bridge between complex business logistics requirements and scalable technical architecture. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying custom enhancements within the SAP EWM environment to optimize warehouse operations. Working closely with functional consultants, project managers, and client stakeholders, you will ensure that technical solutions are not only performant but also aligned with the long-term strategic goals of the business, directly impacting the efficiency and accuracy of global supply chain networks.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and develop custom objects, including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEFW) to meet specific warehouse management requirements.

- Debug and troubleshoot complex technical issues within the EWM module to minimize downtime and ensure seamless warehouse operations.

- Collaborate with functional teams to translate business process requirements into technical specifications, ensuring high-quality delivery.

- Optimize system performance by identifying bottlenecks in code and implementing efficient technical solutions for high-volume logistics environments.

- Provide technical guidance during the integration of SAP EWM with other SAP modules and third-party automated material handling systems.

- Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices in development to maintain system integrity and scalability for our enterprise clients.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in ABAP programming, specifically within the SAP EWM environment, including Object-Oriented ABAP and Web Dynpro.

- Proven ability to design and implement complex enhancements using BAdIs, BAPIs, and enhancement frameworks.

- Strong proficiency in RF framework development, including screen customization and mobile data entry optimization.

- Excellent analytical skills to interpret technical documentation and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.

- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid team environment, coordinating with both on-site and remote project members.

- A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, reflecting a strong foundation in software development principles.

- Adaptability to manage multiple project workstreams simultaneously while maintaining high standards of code quality and documentation.
