Job Description

Key Responsibilities :

- Partner with Indian and global commodity clients to assess trading, risk management, and operational frameworks, and deliver tailored solutions that improve decision-making, controls, and commercial performance.

- Provide advisory across commodity markets and risk, including front-, middle-, and back-office processes, risk reporting frameworks, regulatory developments, and digital transformation initiatives across the trade lifecycle.

- Apply expertise in CTRM/ETRM platforms to review end-to-end trade lifecycle processes, assess system capabilities, identify configuration and integration gaps, and support implementation activities including requirement gathering, BRD/FRD development, solution design review, UAT planning and execution, and post-go-live support.

- Facilitate workshops, requirements sessions, and design discussions, translating business requirements into functional and system specifications while aligning business, technology, and vendor teams.

- Support project delivery across multifunctional teams by managing workstreams, risks, timelines, quality, and stakeholder expectations.

- Provide insights into commodity pricing, hedging, physical and financial trading, exposure management, settlements, and technology trends impacting the commodities sector.

- Support broader application development and digital solution initiatives over and above core CTRM/ETRM platforms, including reporting applications, workflow tools, business dashboards, and operational support solutions.

- Collaborate with business and technology teams on technical enablement initiatives, including data analysis, reporting, system integrations, and automation using tools and technologies such as Python, C++, SQL, databases, data warehouses, Databricks, and AWS, where relevant to CTRM/ETRM and broader business applications.

- Work with business and technology teams to leverage AI tools and AI-led use cases within CTRM/ETRM environments, such as trade surveillance, anomaly detection, predictive risk alerts, intelligent reconciliations, document processing, workflow automation, and user-support copilots.

Qualifications / Requirements:

- 5 to 7 years of experience in CTRM/ETRM system implementation, business analysis, data migrations, system upgrades or E/CTRM transformation programs.

- Experience in the oil, gas, power, metals, or broader commodities industry, with a strong understanding of commodity markets, trading strategies, and risk management principles.

- Strong working knowledge of leading CTRM/ETRM platforms such as Endur, Aspect, RightAngle, Allegro, Eka, or similar systems.

- Hands-on experience in requirement gathering, BRD/FRD creation, process mapping, test scenario design, UAT execution, and working closely with technology teams and system vendors.

- Strong knowledge of technical programming and scripting, with exposure to languages such as Python and C++, to support automation, analysis, integration, or application development initiatives.

- Familiarity with SQL, databases, and data warehouse environments for reporting, data analysis, and system integration is preferred.

- Exposure to modern data and cloud platforms such as Databricks and AWS is an advantage.

- Experience or exposure in application development beyond CTRM/ETRM, including workflow tools, reporting applications, business applications, or digital platforms, is preferred.

- Understanding of or exposure to AI tools and AI-led enhancements in CTRM/ETRM, including predictive analytics, intelligent automation, machine learning use cases, GenAI copilots, and AI-driven operational or risk insights, is highly desirable.
