About the Role :

We are hiring for a Sr. Product Designer role within a leading BFSI fraud and scam prevention team.

This role functions as a highly technical Business Analyst focused on API integrations, solutioning, data analysis, and stakeholder collaboration across complex banking ecosystems.

The team operates as a central technical hub supporting fraud detection, scam prevention, transaction monitoring, compliance, analytics, and customer communication workflows across multiple banking channels.

This is not a pure functional BA or testing role.

We are looking for candidates with strong technical-functional expertise who can work closely with Product Owners, Engineering teams, and upstream/downstream systems to drive scalable integration and data solutions.

Mandatory Skills & Experience :

- Minimum 10 or more years of overall experience is must.

- Strong BFSI domain experience is mandatory.

- Hands-on experience with API integrations from a solutioning perspective (not limited to API testing or project coordination).

- Strong understanding of REST APIs, Swagger documentation, API gateways, and integration workflows.

- Experience creating API specifications, data contracts, and source-to-target mapping documents.

- Strong documentation and exception handling capabilities.

- Ability to manage upstream and downstream data flows, including audit and compliance dependencies.

- Good understanding of data analysis and integration data validation.

- Experience working closely with Product Owners and Engineering teams.

- Exposure to batch processing and file-based integrations.

- Basic SQL querying and data analysis skills.

- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred / Nice to Have Skills :

- Exposure to Kafka topics and event-driven integrations.

- Knowledge of SWIFT messages and payment workflows.

- Experience in Fraud & Scams, Cards, Payments, AML/KYC, Transaction Monitoring, or Banking Risk domains.

- Exposure to GenAI, smart chatbot solutions, or AI-assisted workflow platforms.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Important Note :

This role is highly technical and integration focused.

Candidates with only functional BA experience and without hands-on API integration, data mapping, or technical solutioning exposure may not be suitable for this opportunity.
