Technical Architect - iPaaS Platform

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement scalable, secure integration solutions across enterprise systems using iPaaS platforms such as Dell Boomi, MuleSoft and Workato.

- Translate business requirements into technical architecture and integration strategies.

- Provide implementation oversight and technical leadership to development teams.

- Ensure strict adherence to integration standards, best practices, and governance models.

- Define and drive a reverse engineering strategy to onboard legacy or undocumented systems.

- Troubleshoot complex integration issues and lead root cause analysis and resolution planning.

- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for designs, configurations, and integration workflows.

Skills & Qualifications :

- Hands-on expertise with iPaaS tools like MuleSoft, Workato, Dell Boomi, Apache Camel.

- Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, and frameworks like Spring Boot, Node.js.

- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and associated offerings: DB services, integration hubs, caching mechanisms, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Strong experience with API design (REST/SOAP), data mapping, and workflow orchestration.

- Strong experience with microservices architecture and building scalable, loosely coupled distributed systems.

- Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB / DynamoDB, and understanding of data modeling for high-throughput systems.

- Experience with event-driven architecture using messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or cloud-native equivalents (SNS/SQS, EventBridge).

- Expertise in designing and implementing workflow orchestration engines and stateful process management.

- Understanding of data-in-motion concepts, including real-time data processing, streaming pipelines, and transformation at scale.

- Experience with API gateways, service mesh (Istio/Linkerd), and secure service-to-service communication.

- Strong knowledge of integration patterns (pub-sub, request-reply, event sourcing, saga patterns).

- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) for deploying distributed systems.

- Familiarity with resiliency patterns (retry, circuit breaker, idempotency, dead-letter queues, replay mechanisms).

- Experience building or working with low-code/no-code workflow platforms or orchestration layers.

- Exposure to AI/agentic workflow integration, including use of LLM APIs, tool orchestration, and human-in-the-loop workflows.

- Understanding of security best practices in distributed systems (OAuth2, JWT, API security, data encryption).

- Experience with performance tuning and scalability optimization for high-volume transaction systems.

- Ability to work on hybrid architectures (on-prem + cloud) and multi-system enterprise landscapes (ERP, OMS, WMS, CRM).

- Experience with monitoring and observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK,Kubernetes.

- Exposure to AI development tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor for productivity and code generation.

- Strong communication skills, with the ability to lead teams and engage with cross-functional stakeholders.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and DevOps practices.

- Integration certifications or cloud platform certifications are a plus.
