About the Role :
We are not looking for someone who just documents requirements. We want someone who can walk into a client room, earn trust fast, ask the right questions, and translate messy business problems into clear, actionable specs - then stay close to the team until it ships.
What you will do :
- Own client discovery end-to-end lead requirement gathering sessions, workshops, and stakeholder interviews independently
- Translate business needs into detailed functional specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria the dev team can act on immediately
- Be the primary bridge between client and engineering maintain clarity, flag scope creep, and keep everyone aligned
- Drive sprint ceremonies alongside the PM/TL refinement, planning, demos and keep the backlog healthy
- Proactively identify gaps, risks, and dependencies before they become problems
- Use AI tools actively to accelerate research, documentation, and analysis and help the team adopt them too
- Build strong, trusted relationships with client stakeholders at all levels from ops to leadership
What you bring :
- 4 to 7 years as a BA in a software product or services environment ideally working directly with international clients
- Strong technical foundation you understand APIs, data flows, system integrations, and can read a user story with a dev's eye
- Excellent communication sharp written skills, confident in client meetings, clear under ambiguity
- Proven ability to work without hand-holding you drive the process, you don't wait to be asked
- Comfortable in fast-moving agile teams context switches quickly, priorities shift, and that doesn't unsettle you
- A natural curiosity you ask "why" before "what", and you question assumptions others have stopped questioning

AI fluency non-negotiable :
- Actively uses AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) in day-to-day work not occasionally, habitually
- Can use AI to draft specs, summarize meetings, generate test scenarios, and research domain context faster
- Thinks about where AI can reduce friction in the clientdev loop and experiments with it
- Stays current knows what's new, tries things, brings ideas back to the team
What makes you stand out :
- You've worked on SaaS products or complex enterprise software you know what "production- ready" means
- You've managed clients across time zones without losing quality or trust
- You've pushed back on a client (diplomatically) and were right and they respected it
- You have opinions about what good requirements look like and you can defend them
