TECEZE - Cisco ACI Engineer

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Cisco ACI Engineer with 4+ years of hands-on expertise in designing, deploying, and managing Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) environments.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SDN concepts, data center fabric architecture, and Cisco Nexus switching platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, deploy, and manage Cisco ACI fabric, including APIC controllers, spine, and leaf switches.

- Configure and manage ACI components : Tenants, VRFs, Bridge Domains, EPGs, Contracts, Policies, etc.

- Perform ACI integration with external Layer 3 networks, VMware vCenter, and L4-L7 services (load balancers, firewalls).

- Monitor and troubleshoot ACI environments, ensuring performance, scalability, and availability.

- Lead ACI upgrades, patching, and support lifecycle management of ACI hardware/software.

- Automate tasks and configurations using Python scripting, REST APIs, or tools like Ansible.

- Maintain documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures.

- Work closely with security, cloud, and virtualization teams to support enterprise infrastructure strategies.

- Provide tier-3 support and participate in on-call rotation as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 4+ years of experience in networking, with at least 2 years hands-on with Cisco ACI solutions.

- Deep understanding of ACI architecture, VXLAN, overlay/underlay networking, and fabric discovery.

- Strong experience with Cisco Nexus 9000 series switches in ACI mode.

- Proficient in L2/L3 protocols (VLAN, STP, BGP, OSPF, etc.

- Experience in integrating ACI with VMware, firewalls, and load balancers.

- Familiarity with ACI troubleshooting tools, packet captures, and fault management.

- Experience in automation/scripting (Python, Ansible) and REST APIs for ACI fabric.

- Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with ACI Multi-Site and ACI Multi-Pod architecture.

- Exposure to ACI integration with public cloud (AWS, Azure).

- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Cisco Nexus Dashboard Insights, NAE, or DCNM.
