Job Summary :

We are looking for a Project/Delivery Manager with proven experience in managing Python based Data Engineering and Data Science projects. The role requires strong ownership of delivery, excellent client communication, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams while ensuring high-quality and timely execution.

Key Responsibilities :

- Own end to end project delivery, ensuring timelines, scope, and quality standards are met

- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations and maintaining strong relationships

- Lead client communication, including requirement gathering, status updates, demos, and escalation handling

- Plan and manage sprints, releases, and delivery roadmaps using Agile methodologies

- Conduct sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives

- Manage and mentor teams of data engineers, data scientists, and Python developers

- Ensure effective task allocation, performance tracking, and team productivity

- Identify risks proactively and implement risk mitigation and contingency plans

- Handle issue resolution and escalation management across stakeholders

- Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into deliverables

- Ensure adherence to data quality, governance, and security standards

- Drive continuous improvement in processes and delivery efficiency

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5 to 8 years of experience in Project / Delivery Management, preferably in data-focused projects

- Strong experience in client communication and stakeholder management

- Proven ability to manage Agile/Scrum-based delivery models

- Solid understanding of Python, Data Engineering pipelines, and Data Science workflows

- Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Trello, or similar

- Strong leadership and team management skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (must-have)

- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution abilities

Additional Requirements :

- Work location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat (onsite/hybrid as applicable)

- Valid passport is mandatory

- Willingness to travel for client engagements; no constraints on domestic or international travel

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

- Familiarity with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka)

- Understanding of ML lifecycle and deployment (MLOps)

- Certifications like PMP, Scrum Master, or PRINCE2
