About the Role :
We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Payroll & Benefits Techno-Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) HRMS, Payroll, and Benefits modules. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, supporting, and enhancing Oracle Payroll & Benefits solutions while working closely with HR, payroll, finance, and IT stakeholders to ensure seamless payroll operations and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities :
Functional Responsibilities :
- Implement, configure, and support Oracle EBS Payroll & Benefits modules.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from HR and payroll stakeholders.
- Configure and maintain Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, and HRMS modules based on business needs.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, payroll, tax, and regulatory requirements.
- Handle payroll processing, benefits administration, reconciliation, and payroll validations.
- Support month-end and year-end payroll processing activities.
Provide functional expertise in :
- Payroll elements, balances, costing, and payroll configurations
- Benefits plans, eligibility rules, enrollment, and administration
- Prepare Functional Design Documents (FDDs), business requirement documents, and test cases.
- Support system enhancements, patch testing, and functional troubleshooting.
Technical Responsibilities :
Develop, maintain, and optimize :
- PL/SQL Packages, Procedures, Functions, and Triggers
- Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Reports (RICE Components)
Work extensively with :
- Oracle APIs
- Fast Formulas
- Oracle Payroll technical tools
- Design and develop BI Publisher / XML Publisher reports.
- Troubleshoot payroll and benefits-related issues using SQL queries and Oracle backend tables.
- Support data migration, system integrations, and interfaces with third-party applications.
- Debug, enhance, and maintain existing customizations and technical components.
- Ensure seamless integration between Payroll, HRMS, Finance, and Benefits systems.
General Responsibilities :
- Provide production support and issue resolution (L2/L3 support) for Oracle Payroll & Benefits modules.
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), deployments, and release activities.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, IT, and cross-functional business teams to resolve issues and implement enhancements.
- Create and maintain technical and functional documentation, configurations, and process documents.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, confidentiality, and security compliance across payroll systems.
- Monitor system performance and recommend process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency.
Required Skills & Experience :
- Strong hands-on experience in Oracle EBS Payroll & Benefits (HRMS) modules.

- Strong experience in PL/SQL development and Oracle technical components.
Hands-on experience with :

- Strong understanding of payroll processing, benefits administration, payroll costing, and reconciliation.
- Experience in production support, issue resolution, and enhancements.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, HR, or related field.
- Experience in Oracle EBS HRMS implementations, upgrades, or support projects.
- Knowledge of payroll compliance and statutory requirements.
- Oracle certifications in EBS HRMS/Payroll are an added advantage.
