TCS - SAP SD Consultant

Role Overview :

The candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring, testing, and supporting complex SAP SD solutions, along with collaborating closely with ABAP and cross-functional teams for technical developments, integrations, interfaces, and custom enhancements.

- Perform SAP SD configuration using SPRO for enterprise structure, sales document types, item categories, schedule line categories, copy controls, partner determination, text determination, and output types.

Configure and manage :

- Pricing condition techniques

- Account determination

- Shipping point determination

- Route determination

- Delivery scheduling

- Billing plans

- Develop and review functional specifications (FS) for RICEFW objects including:

- Reports

- Interfaces

- Conversions

- Enhancements

- Forms

- Workflows

- Coordinate with ABAP teams for developments involving:

- User Exits

- BADIs

- Enhancements

- SmartForms

- Adobe Forms

- IDOCs

- RFCs

- APIs

Work on SAP SD integration with :

- SAP MM

- SAP FI/CO

- SAP PP

- SAP WM/EWM

- SAP TM

- Support EDI/IDOC integrations and troubleshoot interface-related issues.

- Participate in SAP implementation, rollout, migration, upgrade, and S/4HANA transformation projects.

- Analyze custom developments and recommend optimized standard SAP solutions wherever possible.

- Perform debugging support and collaborate with technical teams for issue resolution.

- Handle incident management, service requests, defect fixes, and change requests in SLA-driven environments.

- Conduct unit testing, SIT, UAT, regression testing, and deployment support.

- Create and maintain technical/functional documentation including configuration documents, test scripts, and KT documents.

- Participate in client discussions, workshops, and technical solution design sessions.

Required Technical Skills :

- Strong expertise in SAP SD configuration and customization.

- Experience in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA SD module.

Strong understanding of :

- Understanding of debugging concepts and ABAP coordination.

- Exposure to SAP Fiori applications and S/4HANA functionalities preferred.

- Experience working with Solution Manager, ServiceNow, JIRA, or ticketing tools is an added advantage.

- Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology and Agile delivery models preferred.

Preferred Qualifications :

- SAP SD Certification preferred.

- S/4HANA SD exposure/certification will be an added advantage.

- Experience in implementation, rollout, AMS, or support projects in large enterprise environments.
