TCS - SAP Cloud Platform Integration Consultant

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Integration Suite, middleware integrations, API management, and cloud-based integration solutions. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in designing, developing, and supporting integration flows between SAP and non-SAP applications across enterprise environments.

The role involves working on end-to-end integration development, interface design, API enablement, cloud integration architecture, and production support while collaborating with business, functional, and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain integration solutions using SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) / SAP Integration Suite.

- Build and manage integration flows (iFlows), APIs, mappings, adapters, and message transformation logic.

- Develop integrations between SAP and non-SAP systems including SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Ariba, Salesforce, third-party applications, and cloud platforms.

- Configure and manage various CPI adapters such as SOAP, REST, IDoc, OData, SFTP, JDBC, SuccessFactors, and HTTPS adapters.

- Develop message mappings, XSLT transformations, Groovy scripts, and routing logic for enterprise integration requirements.

- Implement API integrations, web services, and middleware communication frameworks.

- Monitor integration interfaces, message processing, error handling, and performance optimization.

- Troubleshoot integration failures, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement corrective actions.

- Work closely with SAP functional consultants, business teams, and external vendors to gather integration requirements and provide technical solutions.

- Support migration, enhancement, upgrade, and rollout projects involving SAP CPI and middleware technologies.

- Configure security certificates, authentication methods, encryption, and secure communication protocols.

- Participate in integration architecture discussions, technical reviews, and solution design activities.

- Ensure compliance with integration best practices, coding standards, and enterprise security guidelines.

- Prepare technical design documents, interface specifications, testing documents, and operational runbooks.

- Support production deployments, incident management, and post-go-live support activities.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum development and project execution methodologies.

Required Qualifications :

- 4- 9 years of experience in SAP integration and middleware technologies.

- Strong hands-on expertise in SAP CPI / SAP Integration Suite development.

- Experience working with SAP and non-SAP application integrations.

- Good understanding of APIs, web services, middleware concepts, and enterprise integration patterns.

- Hands-on experience with Groovy scripting, mappings, and CPI adapters.

- Experience in monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting integration interfaces in production environments.

- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with SAP PI/PO migration to SAP CPI.

- Exposure to SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform).

- Familiarity with Event Mesh, API Management, or Integration Advisor tools.

- SAP CPI / Integration Suite certification preferred.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum project environments.
